I personally thought that the walk along the top of the city walls was going to be another overrated tourist trap, but was very glad to be mistaken. As beautiful and enchanting as Dubrovnik is from the ground it seems even more so from the heights of the walls, as you can really see and appreciate how the city has kept its Medieval charm. I'd recommend going later in the day when the thickest of the tourist mobs have left and so you can enjoy the Mediterranean sun set!
We had a great time going into the little museums that were free with the city card. I love seeing the Ethnographic displays with traditional clothing and tools. The Natural History Museum also had some really great exhibits on native aquatic species found in the Adriatic Sea. Plus, with the Walls included, this was a fantastic way to spend our last day in Dubrovnik! In total we visited over 5 attractions and the card paid for itself!
