We've been to Split before, and while we went to many of the museums and learned a lot about the history, it's always good to take a walking tour. There are usually a few 'odd-ball' tours that give a unique look at the places you're visiting. We're always on the look out for any tour with the words Secret, Ghost, or At Night in the title.
I'm not going to lie... there is another reason we returned to Split... on our last visit we had the BEST Kebabs! Something about the fresh buns, tangy sauces and crunch of fresh cabbage and corn made these little guys drool worthy enough for us to walk across town in the drizzle to have them again. The only problem is, we could only eat one each!

The bus ride from Dubrovnik to Split hugs the coast of Croatia and offers breathtaking views of the mountainous cliffs, and the idyllic little towns that dot the shore. Since this region is far to rugged for trains, buses are your best bet. They are cheap, reliable, and best of all you can flag them down if you're not at one of the major stops!
I will never get tired of the Croatia's beautiful scenery. While we have returned to some of our travel destinations in the past, coming back to Split was a delight. We had such great memories in the streets of Diocletian's Palace. We remembered a lot of our favourite places, and stopped by them in the evening. Simply walking the twisting allies is more than enough to keep you busy!
