Snack: Nuts/Dried Fruit (Local)-
Dinner: 2x Local Lamb-
Many of the restaurants have enclosed areas with stunning views of the surrounding hills and the sunset. The staff were always friendly and eager to explain the local delicacies. We had lamb and although it had a lot of fatty bits the meat melted in our mouths and when we tried to order dessert, baklava, we were told that it was on the house! All in all we've really enjoyed our time here and I honestly think that just doing a day trip to Delphi is a huge mistake!
The trail we took was marked by a faded sign in the town of Delphi. It was stunning and magical. You felt like you were exploring the unknown and quickly the little town faded and all you could see was cliffs and flowers...and huge bugs! lol. We will leave a warning, as when we reached the road to what we thought was an archaeological site, we were met by two farmers...they did not seem to think there was any reason for us to be there, so that is the point we turned around. Still worth the 5 hr trek!
